Mark it on the print and we will follow it. If the print does not call it out, tell us in the RFQ — threads, bores, sealing surfaces, grounding pads and connector faces are the usual ones. If nothing is specified, we will ask before we coat rather than guess.

Yes. Chemical stripping removes the old film without attacking the base metal, then the part goes back through the normal prep route and gets recoated. It is a common path for refurbishment and requalification work.
Iron phosphate pretreatment is standard on carbon steel where corrosion performance matters. It is a conversion coating, so it bonds chemically to the steel and gives the powder a surface to key into. Aluminum takes a different pretreatment route.
Somewhere — every hung part has them. The useful question is where, and that is a conversation we would rather have before the first article than after. Tell us which surfaces are cosmetic or functional and we will fixture around them.
No. Prep is part of the coating price unless a job needs something unusual — heavy scale removal, full strip of an existing system, or custom masking tooling. If that is the case it shows on the quote as a line, not as a surprise.
