This is the list of military coating specifications we run routinely at Rowlett, grouped the way they are actually used rather than the way they are usually printed. If your drawing calls out something not shown here, send it — this is what we run every week, not the limit of what we can quote.
The signature-reduction systems. Gloss and infrared reflectance are controlled properties.
Selected by substrate and incoming condition. Cleaning is part of the specified system, not a preliminary.
A callout is rarely just a number. MIL-DTL-5541 Type II Class 1A is a different requirement from MIL-DTL-5541 alone. Carry the full string onto the purchase order.
Where a drawing pairs a specific primer with a specific topcoat, that pairing is the requirement. Substituting an equivalent is a deviation and needs your customer approval, not ours.
On defense work the paperwork is what lets your customer accept the part. We provide the certification needed for CARC and other MIL-Spec work, with traceability and inspection records.
Our quality management system is AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified and we are ITAR registered. Gleco Plating, Inc. dba Gleco Paint and Powder Coating operates as one company — so plating, anodizing and coating on the same part stay inside one certification package.

Yes. Wash primers, chemical conversion coating per MIL-DTL-5541 and cleaning per TT-C-490E are in-house. Anodizing per MIL-A-8625 runs at our Gleco Plating facility, so it stays inside the same company.
