Serving Irving, Texas

Powder Coating & Industrial Painting in Irving, TX

Irving sits next to the airport, and a lot of what gets manufactured, staged and distributed there ends up somewhere it has to survive weather, handling or a customer inspection. We coat for that: AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 registered, powder and liquid under one roof, and a certificate of conformance with every order.

What we run

Coating Work for Irving Manufacturers

Contract manufacturing

If you are finishing to somebody else’s print, the specification and revision on the purchase order is what we run to. Send it complete and the job is straightforward; send it partial and we will ask rather than assume.

Ground support and handling equipment

Carts, frames, stands and containers that live outdoors and get handled hard. A thick powder film over proper prep is usually the right answer, and prep is where the corrosion life actually comes from.

Distribution and logistics hardware

Racking, fixtures and returnable containers — production volumes where cost per part and repeatable appearance matter more than exotic chemistry.

Aerospace-adjacent work

Proximity to the airport means aerospace requirements show up on parts that do not look like aerospace parts. If a MIL or AMS spec is on the print, we can run it — and we are registered to say so.

Getting parts here

Distance, Freight and Turnaround

About 30 miles across the metro — roughly 40 minutes depending on the route and the hour.

Forty minutes across the metro is a freight conversation more often than a drive. Most Irving customers ship, and the carriers running this corridor handle it daily. Standard turnaround is three weeks from receipt of complete material and a complete purchase order; tell us early if a date is committed downstream.

Why us

What Most Coating Shops Serving Irving Cannot Say

AS9100D registered

The aerospace quality standard, third-party registered and audited on a surveillance cycle — not a claim, a certificate you can download.

ITAR registered and DFARS compliant

Controlled technical data handled under access control, so a defense prime can release work without a flow-down exception.

Powder, liquid and Cerakote

Three processes under one roof, so the recommendation is driven by your part rather than by the only line we own.

Plating in the same company

Gleco Paint & Powder is the coatings division of Gleco Plating — one purchase order, one traceability chain, one certificate of conformance.

Questions

Irving Coating Questions

Do you pick up in Irving?

Talk to us about volume and cadence. For repeat production on a regular schedule it is usually workable. For one-offs, freight or your own driver is generally faster than waiting on a route.

What certifications do you hold?

AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015, and we are ITAR registered and DFARS compliant. The current certificate is downloadable from our certifications page and we will send it directly to your supplier quality group along with our W-9 and insurance certificate if that is what onboarding needs.

Can you handle both coating and plating?

Yes, in the same company. Gleco Paint & Powder is the coatings division of Gleco Plating — so a part needing plating and then coating stays on one purchase order and one traceability chain instead of moving between two vendors.

How do you handle color consistency across shipments?

Variation between lots is a normal characteristic of coating, particularly across alloys and rack positions. If appearance is controlled, we need a written color standard and a current approved sample on the same substrate and mechanical finish. Without one, we hold to the color callout and normal commercial tolerance.

What is your standard turnaround?

About three weeks from receipt of complete material and a complete purchase order. Expedite is evaluated against actual capacity and quoted — we would rather tell you no than miss a date you committed to.
