For most production metal parts that fit an oven, yes — better impact and chip resistance per dollar, essentially no VOC, and a wider color range. It stops being the right answer when the part cannot see roughly 350 to 400°F, will not fit an oven, or needs field touch-up over its life. Those are liquid parts.
We coat galvanized, but it needs specific handling — ASTM D7803 preparation, a gentle sweep blast at a shallow angle with soft abrasive, and a bake above cure temperature. Get it wrong and you strip the zinc or trap outgassing. Call it out on the print so we build it into the quote.
