Coatings are not one-size-fits-all. A CARC system on a ground vehicle, a Class A finish on an enclosure and a corrosion barrier on a weldment are three different problems. Here is how we approach the industries we run most.
Request a Quote(972) 475-2726Gleco Paint & Powder Coating is the coatings division of Gleco Plating — family-owned in Texas since 1979, AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR registered. Because plating and anodizing run in the same company, multi-process parts ship on one purchase order.
Structures, brackets, housings and interior components — coated to print, documented to the paperwork your quality group already expects.
CARC systems, MIL-spec paint and EMI shielding for ground vehicles, shelters, enclosures and support equipment.
Conductive and shielding coatings, cosmetic-critical housings, silk-screened panels, racks and chassis.
Clean, repeatable, documented finishes for instruments, carts, housings and capital equipment.
Chassis, brackets, wheels and under-hood parts that have to survive salt, heat and road abuse.
Frames, weldments, tanks and equipment where corrosion protection is the whole job.
Color-matched, durable finishes for products that people look at as well as use.
Overflow capacity, fast turns and a finishing partner who will not quote against you.
Different industries want different things from a coating. What they all want is the same thing from a coater: the finish that was specified, the paperwork that proves it, and a date that holds.
AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015. The same quality system covers plating, anodizing and coatings — one scope, one set of records.
Controlled work stays in a controlled facility. No offshore processing, no subcontracting the coating out.
Plate it, coat it, mask it, screen it. Multi-process parts do not need three vendors and three schedules.
Send the print and we will tell you what the finish should be. That conversation is free and it prevents most of the expensive surprises.
Almost certainly. These eight are just where the volume is. The real questions are substrate, size, finish spec and volume — not what the end product is called. Send a print and we will tell you straight away whether we are the right shop.
Yes. First article inspection reports, certificates of conformance and material certifications are routine. Tell us in the RFQ what the submission package needs to contain so it is built into the job rather than reconstructed afterward.
That is the case we are built for. Gleco Plating runs plating, anodizing, chem film and passivation in the same company. A part that needs chem film under a CARC topcoat, or hardcoat with a masked painted face, is one order and one supplier.
Both. Batch work and prototype quantities go through the same certified system as production. Expedited service is available when a program date moves.
Send a target — a chip, a part, a RAL or Federal Standard number. We will match to it and hold it across runs. For repeat work we keep the formulation on file so the second order looks like the first.
Whatever the industry, the process is the same: send a drawing and a quantity, get an answer within a business day.
