Primers, topcoats, specialty coatings and precision masking for aerospace structures, brackets, housings and interior components — run under an AS9100D system, in an ITAR-registered facility, twenty minutes from DFW.

Epoxy and polyurethane systems applied to the thickness and sequence the print calls out. Film build is measured, not estimated, and recorded against the job.
Military and aerospace paint callouts run to the governing specification, including chemical agent resistant systems where the platform requires them.
Durable, solvent-free finishes for ground support equipment, tooling, carts, racks and non-flight hardware where a tough film matters more than minimum weight.
Fastener holes, bearing bores, bonding surfaces, sealing faces and connector interfaces stay bare. Masking is written on the traveler and verified at inspection.
Thin-film ceramic coatings where wear, heat and corrosion resistance are needed without meaningful dimensional change.
Panel legends, control markings, part identification and instruction plates screened directly onto the finished surface.
Aerospace supply chains punish surprises. The value of a coater is not that they can spray — it is that the part comes back right, on the date given, with documents that survive an audit.
Not “AS9100 compliant” or “working toward it.” Certified, with the coatings operation inside the scope.
Controlled technical data and controlled hardware stay in a registered facility. Nothing is sent offshore and nothing is subcontracted out.
Chem film under paint. Anodize with a masked painted face. Cad plate and topcoat. One purchase order, one supplier, one schedule.
Certificates of conformance, first article reports and film thickness records come with the parts, not three days later after a phone call.
Yes — Gleco Plating, Inc. is certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015, and Gleco Paint & Powder Coating operates inside that same scope as a division of the company. Current certificates are on the Certifications page.
Yes. Gleco is registered with the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Controlled work is processed in-house in Rowlett, Texas.
Yes, and this is one of the strongest reasons to use us. Chemical conversion coating to MIL-DTL-5541 runs at Gleco Plating in the same company, so a part needing chem film under a primer and topcoat is one order rather than two vendors and a transit leg in between.
Certificate of conformance as standard. First article inspection reports, film thickness data, material certifications and lot traceability on request — tell us in the RFQ what the package needs to contain.
We coat to the specification on the print. Whether a given part is flight-critical is a determination made by your engineering group; our job is to run the called-out process, control it, and document it. Send the print and the applicable specs and we will confirm we can meet them.
Standard work is quoted with a firm date, usually inside a week depending on volume and process route. Expedited service is available when a program date moves — say so in the RFQ rather than after the order lands.
Drawing, quantity and the governing specification. Quotes typically back within one business day.
