Yes, and it needs to be called out properly. A masked boundary is a physical edge, not a machined feature — there is a build-up ridge at the mask line roughly equal to the film thickness. Tell us which surfaces must stay bare, whether the requirement is no coating or no coating build, and dimension the boundary from a datum.

Yes — silk screening and part marking run in house alongside coating. Legends, nameplates and identification do not need a second vendor, a second shipment or a second certificate.
Powder typically runs 2 to 3 mils. Thicker is not automatically better — excess build causes sagging, poor edge definition and pinholes from trapped gas. Specify what the service actually needs and let the coating manufacturer’s data sheet set the range.
Powder is applied electrostatically and the charge follows the outside of the part, so inside corners and deep recesses coat thinner than the flats. If an internal surface carries the corrosion requirement, say so — we will change the process, the racking or the gun setup rather than let it run thin.
