Gleco Paint & Powder Coating is the coatings division of Gleco Plating, Inc. — family-owned in Texas since 1979 and now in its third generation, with more than 150 employees across its two plating plants and a coatings division on top of that. We coat parts for aerospace, defense, electronics, medical, industrial and transportation customers, which means the work has to be right, and the people who do it have to be trained well.

Every employee goes through Gleco University, our internal training system. You take structured courses for your position, prove what you learned through competency assessments, and earn certification in your role. Annual refreshers and recertification keep your skills current, and safety training is built into every path from day one.
As you certify in more skills you become more valuable, and Gleco is built to promote from within. Line leaders, inspectors and managers here started on the floor. Leadership development is part of the system, not an afterthought.
Coating work is hands-on, and most of these roles start with training rather than a résumé full of plating experience.
Load, spray, cure and unload — running to a written parameter sheet, not from memory.
MIL-spec primers, CARC topcoats and industrial enamels applied to specification.
Abrasive blasting, chemical pretreatment and the prep work that decides whether a finish holds.
Careful, patient work: plugs, caps, tape and custom masks that hold a clean line.
Racking for coverage and packing so parts arrive the way they left.
Film build, adhesion, gloss and cure — checked in process, not just at final.
Running a shift, developing operators and owning the schedule.
Ovens, booths, conveyors, pumps and blast equipment — keeping the line running.
